What a fun surprise to find that fall in Texas is so lovely and so long!! Although we had a few wintery days in Oct/Nov/Dec, it really felt like fall most of the time. The kids had leaves to play in for such a long time. Really, the best leaf playing time came for us at the start of December. Luke was putting up Christmas lights while the kids delighted in the mounds of leaves all over the yard. Our leafy yard makes me smile because this was one thing Isaiah was really hoping for - a yard with leaves in the fall. Well, dear son, God has given you that!
