Chatting with Lucy

Lucy's loving knock knock jokes.  This is her go-to joke:
Knock knock
(Who's there?)
Mom.

She called popcorn "acorn pop" the other day.

She's been talking on her play phone saying, "No thank you.  That's enough."

She's moved quickly from "color now" to "I want to color now please mom."

All of a sudden, she busted out with singing the alphabet recently.  I've wondered and asked her to sing ABC's with me, but she's declined.  Then, we were out to eat and she started in!  Of course it's not perfect, but it's definitely what she's singing.

She really, really loves the books Brown Bear, Brown Bear and Baby Bear, Baby Bear.  She'll sit down at least once a day and read Baby Bear to herself.  It's pretty cute to hear her say, "Flying 'quirl, what you see?" along with all of the other animals she's learned in that book - blue heron, prairie dog, rattle 'nake, mountain goat, etc.
