After a BUSY June, we have been so glad to have some down time. We have had several days in a row with nothing on the calendar, and it has been glorious! We did manage to squeeze in summer cereal purchases, and we did go to Alpine's 4th of July celebration and fireworks on June 30. For the real July 4, we broke tradition and went to a movie. It is so rare that we see a movie in the theater, so it was a treat to see Toy Story 4. Afterwards we did some firecrackers in the backyard. It started great, went downhill when Noelle got a little burn from a popper, and we finished up glad for some sparkle and for nothing catching on fire :)
