We decorated the house the day after Thanksgiving, and we have been in full Christmas mode since! First stop - Christmas train display with the Silverthornes -
Next stop - CC Christmas party and book exchange. This year, the Challenge students led all of the games and planned it all! So very thankful for this amazing group of families!
This little cutie found me every morning in the living room with the Christmas tree on. Filled with wonder, delight, and anticipation, she would snuggle with me then look to see if any new gifts had arrived under the tree.
We had another year of 1/4 of our ornaments living on the windowsill, where Lucy would play with them. Noelle enjoyed weeks of having their room to herself during rest time as Lucy chose this spot every single day.
We finally made it to Santaland lights! Lucy had to be so patient as our plans were interrupted several times due to basketball practices, weather, and other festivities. She was thrilled to finally go!
Next stop: Christmas class with Mrs. Horner. We got to join class and hear all about the composers and musical pieces they had studied this semester. She spoiled us with cookies, compliments, and love. She is such a blessing to our family!
Next stop: more windowsill ornament play!
The Children's Christmas program at church was very sweet. This is the first and last time that all 3 kids will participate! Isaiah had a narrator part, Noelle sang in the chorus, and Lucy sang with her class. The theme was Lego Christmas: God is the Master Builder.
The Coppingers treated the kids to the North Pole train ride in Palestine!! They were ALL excited for this adventure, including wearing jammies (unless you're a 12 year old boy). We are so thankful for Stan and Sharon and the way they love us and make special memories with us!
