Summer Travels - Part 2

After our days in Tucson. Alex headed to a conference, very pregnant Cass got on a plane, and Jack, Roxanne, Luke and I drove the 5 kiddos to Colorado by way of a night in Santa Fe.  The next morning, Luke, Jack, and Isaiah got their packs ready for the first 3-generation backpacking adventure!!  Once Luke knocked his raging headache from the night before, they were ready for this much-anticipated excursion.  Isaiah had a lot of outfitting to do.  Jack gave him his first pack for an early bday gift and Luke got him squared away with shirts, shoes, and sunglasses.  We passed down our camera to him, and he was set!  They had an awesome time on their 3 day, 19 mile trip and came back with lots of stories, pictures, and tired bodies.

Roxanne and I drove the other 4 kiddos to Colorado.  I broke off with my girls and headed to Denver while she took Noah and Elliot.  The Tallon ladies arrived at Mimi & Pa's house ready for some girl fun before Luke and Isaiah joined us.

Happy ladies!

We had a much anticipated trip to the Doll Museum for tea!  All of the girls were so excited for this special trip.  "Miss Roro" met us at the door with great enthusiasm and instructions on how to properly enjoy a fancy tea.  The girls all did so well and we had a lovely time!

Mimi & Pa's pond proved to be great entertainment for these girls who decided they would "rescue the snails" all afternoon.
