Berry time

The years keep rolling by and the traditions keep coming around again!  Our annual berry picking morning with the Frees and Longs was great.  The Tanners and Micah joined us, too.  This year was extra fun because there were huge muddy puddles full of tadpoles!  These are the moments I have to let go of my initial instincts to NOT put our hands in muddy tadpole water, fill bottles and containers with them, and lug them home.  They are delightful to the kids, and I have learned to just smile and let them enjoy it.  It is pretty cool to watch them develop!  So, we came home with many pounds of strawberries and about 20 tadpoles.  They ended up growing legs.  We decided they could use some clean water and I accidentally killed them with tap water.  They kids were ok by then.  We enjoyed them while we could.
