Around the house

High-5 Ninjas ready for morning chores -

Science experiment turned play -

Training wheels are off!  Truth be told, she's probably been ready for a year to take the training wheels off.  It was just one of those things we had a hard time getting around to.  But, finally, we took them off and headed to the empty LeTu parking lot.  It was a lot harder than she expected it to be, but Noelle is a very determined little lady.  She worked hard until we had to go and that was the only session we had helping her.  After a few more days of practicing in the driveway on her own, she got it!  She recently rode to the Free's house and has been riding a ton in the driveway.  Go, girl!

And Lulu is learning to read!!  She loves doing reading lessons and requests them often.  I have not pushed reading, but she's ready.  Isaiah and Noelle will do lessons with her sometimes.  Super cute -

The kids are doing a history online course through Veritas and it's awesome.  The girls mostly sit and watch while Isaiah does the computer work.  This was a rare moment of arms around each other.  Sweet.

Isaiah's working on mastering the Rubick's cube.  It's all the rage these days among 8-10 year olds!

And so many unpictured moments that I hope I can keep in my mind -
- Lucy's "MOM!" call in the morning, her little whispered "good morning, momma" when I come get her, and her arms and legs wrapped around me as we walk to the den
- A laundry basket overflowing with doll houses, books, stuffed toys, crayons in the corner of my room for whichever girl is doing "rest time" in my room
- Isaiah curled up in on a couch learning string tricks, or magic tricks, or rubic's cube tricks then wanting to show them to me
- Noelle's "secrets" - "You're the best mom ever!"
- Isaiah's happiness over having a basketball hoop, but apathy in playing alone
- Noelle and Lucy "playing babies" with their dolls
- Snuggling on the couch reading The Green Ember
- Noelle's delight in having a gummy smile
- Isaiah and Luke staying up past the girls' bedtime to watch "Clone Wars"
