The East Texas Balloon Festival arrived to hot and sunny weather! We were able to get out and about to spot some shaped balloons in town in the morning. Here's my sweet Lucy ready to roll -
We grabbed some donut holes and cruised Longview. We saw a few balloons up and then came upon "Cosmos 1" getting ready to go up. We loved watching him inflate and were very surprised to see they left him up for about 25 seconds before beginning the process of taking him down.
That night, we joined the Kueckers and Masons for some balloon festivities. It was HOT, but so fun to be part of this small town event and spend it with dear friends.

Aww... Sorry not to make it this year! But at least Sarah Joy and I were together around that time...
