Beautiful Little Ballerina

After attending a pre-ballet class for the entire school year, Noelle finally came upon her long-awaited ballet performance.  Although she enjoyed her ballet class on most days, the delight of getting primped for the dress rehearsal and again for the performance was definitely the highlight of the year!

"Mom!  This is the fanciest I have ever been!!"

Confident and cute on her way into the Belcher Center at LeTourneau -

It was a treat to be in class with Chandler this year!

Mimi made plans months ahead to come in for the weekend to be part of the rehearsal festivities.  It was so much fun to have her here and share the experience with her.

Noelle's teachers, Miss Jade and Miss Bonnie.  Noelle was a great student, paid attention very well, and had lovely technique!  (She did not, however, like "freeze dance" at ALL.  She pretty much refused to participate in the "reward" for the girls at the end of each class of being able to free-style dance.  She held her ground!)

She had no idea she'd be able to get dressed up, put on make-up, perform, AND get flowers!!  So fun to do it all for the first time!!

Noelle is such a big presence in our family and I expect a lot of her!  Seeing her on that stage in the youngest class reminded me of what a little girl she still is.  I feel like she's growing up so fast, but it was a relief to remember she IS still a little girl and we hope for many more years of watching her continue to bloom into who she was created to be.
