Littleton Christmas

After early morning stocking opening in Longview, we loaded up the car to head to Lubbock.  The weeks before leaving were hectic with Christmas parties and festivities, Luke finishing the semester, etc., so he ended up taking the car in to have the transmission fluid changed right before we left.  Although we got a little bit of a late start, it sure helped the car run better!  We drove to Lubbock to spend the night with the Fishers.  What joy to reunite with these precious friends who have also taken the plunge from Pepperdine to TX with all of the blessings and challenges that come with that.  It was a true joy and encouragement to be with them.  The kids jumped right into playing and the adults delighted in friendship and fellowship.

The next morning we are off bright and early to make the trip to Littleton.  The trip was super smooth, foggy, and easy.  It was wonderful to drive up to that cozy house on Prentice Circle!  The kids were excited to see "their" newly decorated bedroom and all of the Christmas decor around the house.  Seeing Molly had been much anticipated, too.  There were many times that Molly was mentioned as we prepared for our trip.

Our days were full of sweetness.  We had a great time with the Russo clan for Christmas eve dinner, went to church a few times, I had coffee dates with Liz and Becca, we had brunch at Shannon's house, we played and ate and celebrated!

Here are some Christmas Day pics -

Such a sweet day!  The gifts to remember from this Christmas were Isaiah's first pair of boots, Noelle's own 'breakable tea set' (and Frozen dresses) and Lucy's Dora toys.  Luke got set up with equipment for a crawfish boil and I got all sorts of treats and goodies for me and the kitchen and the house!  Happy day :)
