My girls

Recently we had a bit of a girls' weekend while Isaiah and Luke were w/ Pa and Uncle David in Stillwater for a few days.  Oh, these precious girls.  I don't take enough pictures of them, though I know I can't begin to capture them in photos -

Matching jammies -

Before I cut her hair, I had to take a few shots of her long California-eque blond hair -

One of our girls' weekend events was getting cozy in jammies and watching Tinkerbelle together.  It is actually a really great girls' movie as Tink has to get over the temptation to be like all of the other fairies and learn contentment in who she is.  She is gifted and unique and has her own place to work and serve.  I hope my girls will be confident in who they are and be able to somewhat resist the constant temptation to compare themselves to others.
Usually screen time means mom gets a break or goes to get something accomplished without interruption.  It was pretty sweet to just sit and be with them for a whole movie.
Here we are, snuggled close for the much anticipated feature film!

I think my favorite feature of the new kitchen is the peninsula!  What a great spot for little helpers to sit!
