In the spring, I got to have date nights with both of my big kids. Noelle and I had a "Bloom" night at church where we mod podged flower pots and planted flowers in them, painted canvases, painted nails, had dinner, had a dance fitness class, and worshiped. What a great night. I loved hanging out with my precious little date and I love that I get to be on this journey of "blooming" with her!
And the mother/son date night was a Duck Dynasty date! What fun to dress up, eat fried chicken, and have a nerf gun war. Oh how I love having a son!!
We had the brilliant idea of taping decorative moss to our faces. It was such a good idea, but not executed as well as it could have been. We barely made it to church before it was falling off. We kept it on through the costume contest, but didn't win. There were some good costumes!
There was even a Duck Dynasty look alike dude there - We go all out at Alpine!
