Easter Week!

What a great Easter week we had!  Jack and Roxanne were here for a good long visit.  Among the un-pictured highlights -
- a trip to Lindale to visit Roxanne's aunt and uncle
- Luke teaching Sunday School twice
- cleaning up the yard - big time - including having a giant rotten stump removed and moving the neighbor's play set into our yard
- a Luke & Holly's 24 hour trip to Shreveport!  We ate out, stumbled upon a beautiful garden on our walk, went to a movie, and did some shopping.  What a fun little excursion!
- a few rounds of Hide & Seek
- lots of book reading time
- going to 2 of Isaiah's baseball games
- going to a girls' softball game at LeTu
- Me getting really rolling on my Avon business.  I spent a full day and a half w/ Maggie, the woman passing her business on to me.  It was so great to have extra help during all that!
- a trip to Caddo Lake (the only natural lake in East Texas)
- a fishing trip for the Tallon men with some friends from church
- a few rounds of a super fun egg game from Mimi and Pa last year
- two trips to putt putt
- the first trip to the splash pad (while we were gone) - the kids got to get in - in their clothes - and haven't stopped talking about it!

And the pictured happenings:

I didn't get to stretch my artistic wings this year as I was mostly trying to keep Lucy from egg-dying catastrophe

The play set!!  One of the things Isaiah really wanted in the new house was a tree house.  This is pretty close!  All three kids are totally thrilled with it -

We made Resurrection Cookies on Sat. night -

Resurrection Garden on Easter morning - One of my favorite traditions!

Easter baskets!  Bibles/devotionals, new jammies, and candy -

Easter Morning sweeties -

The post-church hunt!

We had Doug and Karissa and baby-to-be over for lunch.  Ham, cheesy potatoes, asparagus, and cobbler a la Karissa.

So fun! Your Easter pics of kids in the yard turned out really well. My favorite of the bunch, though- the kids on the swinging parts of the play area. Hanging, curled up and on a big-girl swing. Great! Love you guys!
