So, we have a lot more pictures from the last few weeks! I think these are the last events left to record for the month of October!
Fall fest at church - Annakin Skywalker, Dr. Tallon, a ballerina, a bee, and a hiker!
Lucy loved her first sucker so much!
Luke had a couple of days off for fall break. We took a family day to the Dallas Arboretum, which was well timed. The fall weather and displays were perfect and we had to be out of the house all day for window replacement anyway. We really enjoyed wandering the gardens, the pumpkin village, and the children's science garden. A great day for all 5 of us.
We had the Longs and Frees over for chili and pumpkin carving. Such a fun night. We continue to be amazed that we live in the same little neighborhood as these old Pepperdine friends. It makes us so happy to be in a new chapter of life and have some old-chapter friends in it. And the kids are becoming very comfortable w/ both families. I've told Karissa and Jaime that they are seeing the "real Noelle", something that not every new friend here has seen yet! You can see the 2 giant pumpkins were carved! Noelle chose a happy face and Isaiah's was a pirate. He'd planned his well in advance, so I'm glad my quick pumpkin stabbing produced something he was happy with.
More of the costumes -

Love the pictures and updates! You are settling in, in spite of everything! Love to you...
The Dallas Arboretum looks like an amazing place! We've never been... I love the fall decor with the colorful pumpkins piled up, and the little ones wound around the tree. Your three are growing up so much - I really hope our children can play together sometime in 2014.
The kids are "becoming!" I mean- they're each looking more and more like whoever they'll always look like. It's amazing that they continue to change so much! I can't wait to see them. The Arboretum looks so cool! Glad you're finding fun family adventures. Love you guys! Cass
