This week

We had a huge storm!! It wasn't even at the "tropical storm" level, but it reminded us of something we'd seen on Weather Channel videos. Once the wind calmed down, Luke and the kids spent some time sitting on the front porch, munching on fruit loops, and watching the rain pour down. And, yes, I know Isaiah's hair is super short... A little brown lamb was born right behind our house. We missed the actual birth, but we saw some of this little one's first steps. Isaiah was very inquisitive about the umbilical cord still hanging from the lamb and commented on how cute the little lamb was. Noelle said "little lamb!" and blew kisses and held her baby doll up to show her the little lamb, too.
Yesterday Luke and Isaiah went on a hike. Isaiah was really excited to take a hike w/ his little camelback on.

What an experience to have a little lamb born right by your house ... a great memory for the kiddos (and Mom and Dad, too)

Ummm...I don't think we'll ever see a lamb born on Louisiana Ave. :-) Glad you get such fun moments with the kiddos...

I think I recognize that hike and hydration is definitely needed for the Little Man and the BIG man!!!
Definitely fun seeing the trail tradition carry on...
