Family Bowling Night

Barbados got its first bowling alley a few months ago. I went with some girlfriends a few weeks back and couldn't wait to take my family! Finding new, fun things on this little island is pretty exciting. Isaiah was beyond thrilled as he anticipated the event. Between a bowling night and Mimi coming the next day, he was totally unable to contain his excitement. We had a good time at the alley, though Luke and I are convinced that, at least lane 1 was maybe not as smooth and flat as is necessary for successful bowling. Even with the little medal ramp, we got a lot of gutter balls. That was a bit disappointing to Isaiah since he's grown accustomed to regular strikes and spares on Wii bowling! Noelle was a little frustrated that we wouldn't allow her to carry her ball on her own, and she really wanted to kick it down the lane. But, she got the hang of it and was just as excited about a gutter ball as hitting pins. We were thankful for a fun family event before Luke heads off on his whirlwind trip to Germany and the UK. More to come on that..

Great to have uncharted lanes and the bowling shoes are definitely groovy chic.

That looks like so much fun and don't worry, we'll let you blame your sub-par bowling on the alley. :-)
