Oh, the second child...

So, I'm working on putting all of our Scotland blog posts into a book. I've found a fabulous website - blurb.com - that slurps up my blog and then I can edit it and work with the layout. I can't wait to get it into a hardback book! It has been really fun for me to go back and read all of those old posts, though it has made me feel just a wee bit guilty that my dear daughter has not gotten nearly as much blog attention as my dear son did in his first months.

So, what do I need to get in print about my 10 1/2 month old? Let me see...
- She will patty-cake all day long if she has an audience. She's become the master of patting, rolling, and throwing it in the oven. I just love the proportions of babies - when she 'throws it in the oven' her hands don't even reach above her head. So cute.
- The other morning she cried and cried and refused to go down for her nap. Later, I found a Popsicle stick in her jammies which must have snuck in when we were playing with them that morning.
- She's loving cheese these days.
- She's pulling up on everything now and starting to shift her weight on her little legs.
- She waves 'bye' with both hands simultaneously.
- I l-o-v-e snuggling her to sleep, though I try to put her down before she's in deep sleep. This girl is a snuggler and there is nothing sweeter than holding her against my chest, feeling her body completely relax in my arms, hearing her breath move into deep rhythm and kissing her fuzzy soft head. It just doesn't get better than that.
- She is one loved sister. We've been doing thankful leaves again this year. Last year, Isaiah's go-to answer to "What are you thankful for?" was "sheeps and dogs". This year, some of his answers have been "Noelle", "Whales and Noelle", "Dogs and Noelle", "Dinner and Noelle."
- She's beautiful in red.
- She loves pulling Isaiah's hair, and he actually tolerates it!
- She's on the go now, especially drawn to the cd player.
- I think she may just say mama one of these days!
- She goes to bed at 6pm, and she's not sleeping through the night yet... but she's down to 1 early morning waking.
- She's delightful!

What a precious bundle she is! I wish I could squeeze those cheeks :) such a cutie pie. I'm trying to blurb our blog too! I was doing really good last year, but I don't even have our first year here done yet! I keep forgetting about it.. I'm so on top of it.. I blame Aed.

Holly, thanks for the bio on Noelle! Such a cutie! What is it with babies and cheese?? We can't even say the word out loud in our house or Cameron goes crazy! He is very emotional about his cheese. :-)
