Baby steps

I've started a short photography class. I hesitate to say it lest any blog readers out there start expecting me to actually know what I'm doing behind a camera! The class has been really fun, though overwhelming to realize just how much I don't know about photography and how I'd love to know it all ... instantly. Like everything else, it takes time. I do like this hobby a lot though because of the instant gratification as well as (plenty) of room to grow and learn. Maybe someday someone will pay me to take pictures - that would be amazing! But for today, I'm totally content with a few shots of my girl in the leaves on a November afternoon.
