In case you're wondering...

1. Colorado
2. We don't know.
3. Not sure yet.
4. We'll see.
5. We're waiting to find out.

These are the answers to your questions, assuming they are, "Where are you now?" followed by any assortment of: How long will you be in the States? When will Luke start teaching? What is included in your furnished house? How long will the work permit take? What kind of car will you get? Do they have Starbucks in Barbados?

We've grown quite comfortable with the unknown of tomorrow, actually. All we really know is where we are and what we're doing TODAY, which I suppose is a good way to live, to be focused on the present moment. So, today Luke's working on his thesis in his basement office at my parents' house, I'm heading out to see Julie & Julia with my mom/sis/friends, Isaiah is napping before getting ready to fish with Pa in a nearby lake, Noelle is teething and celebrating last night's victory - her first (!!!) time to sleep through the night (6:30pm - 5:00am, nurse, 5:15am - 7am)... or maybe I'm doing more celebrating on that front.

We're feeling anxious to jump in and conquer this new and totally unknown chapter of life, get settled into our new home, decorate rooms for the kids, see the college, etc., but we're very thankful that God has plunged us into this extended sabbath to rest and be with our families in the middle of this huge international transition.

So glad to hear from you! And glad to see that your sense of humor is holding up in this waiting period. Maybe this is God's way of letting Luke finish his thesis before he gets swamped with teaching responsibilities - just trying to look on the bright side... We think of you often and pray for you when you come to mind. Much love!
