In the last couple of days, we've been reminded of how much we need to take advantage of walks on the Lade Braes path that runs along the burn (creek). There is a great little park, a beautiful walk, and lots of daffodils at this time of the year. Here are a few pics from the last 48 hours.
I think this one might be my favorite. I love those little toddler hands.
Sweet boy. He l-o-v-e-s this slide!
So, I tried to do a photo shoot with my two babies in the daffodils. Most of my pictures turned out like this. Isaiah looks totally uninterested, but he actually held on to Noelle for about 4 minutes, which is a record! If I'm ever going to get good at taking pics of both my little ones together, I'm going to have to learn how to make really quick decisions on camera functions, focusing, and setting up the shot because these special moments don't last long!
Sweet girl! Here she is in her little stroller compartment. Her brother's blue clothes really bring out her eyes.
I promised Luke I'd display one of his shots of me on the slide. My parents and sister will recognize this expression - I've seen in in many pictures from my youth. I'm sure I'll still be making it when I'm 80.
Walking along the path. Isaiah found a perfect stick to throw into the burn early on and toted it around with him until he tripped over it and Luke had to break it down into a "little boy sized stick".
We told Isaiah to hide in the daffodils so we could send Mimi & Pa a picture and tell them to try to find him - like "Where's Waldo". He was very serious in his attempt to hide. So, Mimi & Pa - can you see him?!?

The "Stuck with my kid sister" pic is very funny. As she gets older, the pictures will get more amusing.

No, we can't see him!
