Frosty Beach Walk

It has been a little while since my last post. I attribute this to a couple of excuses. First, I haven't really had anything thoughtful, funny, or very interesting to say. Second, our main photo centerpiece is no longer a very good model! He is always moving, and while he is almost always super cute, it is hard to catch a moving target. Third, we've been stuck inside for weeks! Between super strong winds and steady gray and rainy days, we haven't been out much. I have always enjoyed being outdoors, but I haven't craved it as much as I do now with a toddler - especially one of the energetic, explorative, male variety. Isaiah is almost always happier outside, and thus, momma is almost always happier outside, too. And, there are only so many pictures I can take in our little flat with Isaiah perched on the orange couch...

But, this morning was beautiful! The 3 of us walked Daddy to work on a long route which took us down the frosty East Sands beach. Isaiah loved it. Then on the way home, he looked up at me and asked to "awk", so he got out and strolled around the frosty grass and pathway in the park. We were so thankful for some time to be out and about in this beautiful place! (Notice we have very few face shots of Isaiah. Like I said - moving target!)
