We're thankful to be near the end of our time without Luke. He's on his way home from a conference, and we're really looking forward to having him back with us! We've had a good week, though. Isaiah is learning new things everyday. In the last few days, he's figured out where his head is, learned how to make a fishy face, and mastered the word "shoes". He's also eager to eat on his own with utensils, climb on the couch, and turn the CD player off and on and off and on....
The picture at the top is what Isaiah has to endure about 100 times/day, and he loves it (most of the time...). The picture at the bottom is Isaiah with his buddy. His mom and I get our little guys together a couple of times a week, usually for trips to the pool or the aquarium.

There is nothing, truly nothing, better than kissing your own babies. No matter how big they get and how much they dislike it. I sneak into their rooms at night and love up on all of them mercilessly. It's the best thing to do before crashing into my own bed.
