Moments at home

Isaiah is already doing a chore around the house. He has decided to be the lint-cleaner-outer for our family. Everyday, he makes his way to the dryer, takes out the lint tray, and pulls all the fuzz out. The only problem is that he usually sticks a handful in his mouth. He thinks it is very funny when we catch him in the act and tell him not to eat it, so he laughs before spitting the wet wad of lint out.

This little guy is not lacking in head size! We think it is pretty funny when his shirts get stuck on his head. He's not always amused, but he likes to entertain us, so it works out.

We have a very happy boy who is full of smiles, but there are a few moments like this daily.

Finally, I keep trying to capture this moment of film, but I just can't get it. I've video recorded it and taken a handful of pictures, but nothing compares with the real thing. After Luke bathes Isaiah and gets him in his jammies, they walk around the corner to "find Mommy". I sit in the middle of the room, and my sweet boy comes around the corner, clean, calm, and with a huge grin on his face before happily making his way into my open arms. It is one of the best moments of my day.

There is nothing like a smiling, freshly bathed baby in footy-pajamas! What could be sweeter than that?!

So sweet! I can't wait to see my little Evie walking around the corner to come into my arms. Keep the pictures coming!

What wonderful pictures, Holly. A great representation of what a day in the life is like... and I love the picture of Isaiah coming to find you after the bath. Our boys announce to us now, "I'm all fresh and clean!"
