Recent ABC's - Ayr, Berries, and Celebration

It has been a little while since our last post! Holly's parents, Phil and Sara, have been visiting. We've had a great time. We spent a few days in a town on the southwest coast of Scotland, Ayr. Our days there included golf, playing at the park, and touring Culzean castle. We stayed in a great bed & breakfast and enjoyed good weather the whole time. Since being back in St Andrews, we took Grandpa and Gammy to the berry farm just outside of St Andrews. We had scones and tea, played with Isaiah in the sandbox, and picked enough blackberries for the best blackberry cobbler Grandpa has ever had (which is really saying something)! The biggest event of the week was Isaiah's second first birthday party. This party was his kid party. Mom gave me a cake decorating lesson, and together we created a doggy cake to go with the theme of the party. Isaiah had 3 of his buddies and their parents there to celebrate with us with presents, cake, and a Spot the Dog video. There was plenty of crawling over each other and munching on snacks, too. Enjoy the pics -

AND - Isaiah took his first 3 steps earlier this week!! Both Mommy and Daddy were able to witness the big moment. It was very exciting, although he hasn't attempted it since. He's such an able crawler now that stumbling around on wobbly legs must just seem silly.

I'm really curious to know what the ears on that dog were made out of. :) Looks like you guys had a blast! Exciting to hear about the first steps!
