Happy Birthday, Dear Isaiah!

Isaiah turned one yesterday! It is hard to believe that our little guy has been with us for a full year. As we've reflected on his first year of life, we've been amazed to think of how much joy, laughter, and delight he has brought to our family. We had his first, first birthday party (the second one is coming...) on Saturday. Isaiah really enjoyed his cake, although we were all surprised that the consumption of it was so neat. We were prepared for a face full of frosting and cake smeared in his hair, but it ended up being less messy than most of his dinners! He enjoyed opening gifts, quickly getting the hang of finding his presents in the bottom of gift bags. He got board books, some toys, and clothes, including a really cute Curious George rain jacket. It was a fun birthday!
