Thanksgiving

 Originally, Jack and Roxanne had hoped to come visit during November and possibly be here for Thanksgiving. We have learned to live in the "wait and see how the numbers look" mentality. And, when it came down to it, both CO and TX are seeing spikes in covid cases, many things are closed, and it seemed wise to postpone a trip. I was ready to do the whole meal, but we were invited to the Coppingers instead! We were all thrilled about that, both because we love them and because she is a fantastic cook! We brought sweet potato casserole and mashed potatoes, but Sharon did everything else. It was a really beautiful day, so we could eat outside and spread out - us and both sets of Coppingers. Wonderful food, weather, and company. We were so thankful!
