This week, social distancing continued. We did Passage online, which meant Luke and I spent each day at LeTourneau with the other faculty members. We taught on one morning and enjoyed listening to the classes on the other days. The kids were given one chore and one fun thing for each day to do while we were gone. Chores included cleaning out drawers and organizing socks. The fun things included a Labo set (cardboard switch accessories to build and play with), shaving cream, pipe cleaners, and a day where they could order donuts/bagels from me and each choose their own movie to watch. They were troopers, and Passage went pretty well, all things considered.
In the midst, Luke passed the mowing baton to Isaiah -
We did a bit of shopping -
We got some more fresh peaches and we have learned how to let them ripen by tucking them in -
Remmie and her sister kept growing!
I liked the Passage shirt color much more than Luke did -
Summer cereal day coincided with Father's Day!
Luke got an array of handmade goodies and a new drill -
This season has really been fun for Luke's mode of operation - projects with the kids. Not pictured are several yard work projects, changing breaks with Isaiah, building desks with Isaiah, Legos, chess, and lots more gardening - He's a pretty awesome daddy and these kids are blessed to have him!
