Disney World 2019

In February, we got word that Granddad was gifting Grandma with a trip. She'd dreamed of taking her kids and grandkids on a trip to Disney World for years, and 2019 was the year to make it happen. We anticipated the trip for months and months, making decisions about fast passes, meals, flights, and hotels. It all came together and it was a truly delightful and magical trip! Here are our favorite memories:

Lucy:
- Princess breakfast in the castle, meeting Snow White
- Seeing all of the Disney characters in real life
- Riding Avatar, Dwarf Mine Train, and Big Thunder Mountain

Noelle:
- Riding Avatar, Space Mountain, and Splash Mountain
- Being at Magic Kingdom
- Watching fireworks in front of the lit up castle and Gabi getting her chocolate ice cream treat all over her legs and wiping it on Isaiah's hat
- Princess breakfast in the castle

Isaiah:
- Star Wars land
- Gabi's craziness
- Being there for the first time
- Running to rides with short wait times

Holly:
- Making the journey to Orlando all healthy, excited, and ready! We flew from Longview, which was delightful. I loved not having the drive to do between Dallas and Longview. The smell of the Art of Animation lobby was pretty magical - spicy sweet and happy!
- Seeing Roxanne enjoy lots of sweet moments and dreams-come-true
- Riding the classics of Magic Kingdom, especially Splash Mountain
- Watching all 6 kids enjoy so many delightful moments
-  Coming back to our Lion King family suite each night after 10 miles of walking and running for rides through Magic Kingdom (Mon/Tues), Epcot (Wed), Animal Kingdom (Thurs), and Hollywood Studios (Friday). SO nice to avoid cars and parking and the hassle of staying off site. What a treat!
- Getting the whole crew up and at Hollywood Studios on Friday by 7am to successfully get boarding passes for the new Star Wars ride and stand in line for another Star Wars ride. This part of the park has only been open a few months, so it all felt very cool (and very popular!!)
- Shopping with Lucy for her souvenir then watching her cherish her super cute stuffed Minnie Mouse

Luke:
- Riding Big Thunder Mountain first, relief and joy that Elliot and Lucy both loved it
- Safari in Animal Kingdom
- Everest Roller Coaster
- Running across parks with all 12 of us to get a ride in before our Fast Passes
- Riding Space Mountain with the big kids
- Seeing Holly get splashed on Splashed Mountain
- Seeing Gabi's hands up high on roller coasters.. fearless!
- Skyliner tram from the hotel to Epcot and Hollywood Studios
- People watching in all the parks

We were so very thankful for a pretty perfect week and hearts full of magical memories!!
