Spring was once again full of baseball. Isaiah played for the Athletics this year and had some great, kind coaches who expected a lot from the kids, but were gracious and encouraging, too. Isaiah got to play catcher again for many games. The girls were patient in attending lots of games, but they didn't have to go to many practices. This year, there was no tournament for the city league, so no trophy or tournament, but it was a great season! He was undecided about whether not he will play again next year. It is sad to think about baseball being potentially done, but it has been so fun to watch him play!
The girls did ballet with Miss Courtney at a local private school this year. They enjoyed their Wednesday afternoon practices and got to perform at the school's end-of-year assembly. Noelle's class had only a handful of girls, and she loved getting lots of her own dance instruction. Lucy had a great time in her class and their recital was very cute.
Finally, we had our "Piano Party" with Mrs. Horner. The theme this year was Marry Poppins, and Susan really outdid herself. Such a great studio she has created and the kids are all thriving in their enjoyment of music. It doesn't translate into any voluntary practicing, but they love going to lessons!
