This was my first year to tutor Essentials for CC. I was ready for a new challenge after tutoring Foundations for 3 years, and it was a great year. I LOVED my students and their mommas. I also loved tutoring with Andrea. The finale was the Faces of History program at the end of the school year, and it was a HIT! Andrea and I were incredibly proud of all of the Essentials students. It's amazing to watch these kids grow over the course of a year. Really, now that many of us have been schooling together for several years, we get to celebrate and marvel at how much these kids grow and develop over time. Isaiah chose to write his paper on Neil Armstrong. His paper was strong, his display was awesome, and his costume was super simple! What a great night of celebrating our community!
