It was a rainy year for Halloween, but we dressed up whenever we could! The best dress up time was at the church's chili cook-off and Harvest Festival. We may have been some of the only people dressed up, but we had fun!
Beautiful Snow White
Sweet Laura Ingalls Wilder
Storm Trooper!
We missed the pumpkin decorations at Ellis Pottery this year, but Lucy was beyond thrilled to run around the empty hay stacks and empty photo-op displays. She was so happy on this day. The rest of us just enjoyed her JOY!
Our "pumpkin patch" ie Aldi -
We also got to dress up for Trick or Treating at LeTourneau. Isaiah, Coby, and Jesse made a pretty great Star Wars trio -
Pumpkin carving this year was with our Life Group -
Lucy's design was more abstract art than a face or recognizable picture -
Other than the initial opening of the pumpkin, Noelle is 100% independent on carving!
Isaiah went through the usual pattern. 1.Searching online for a good idea. 2.Attempting difficult idea. 3. Getting frustrated/sad over the idea not coming together. 4. Persevering 5. Ending up with a pretty cool looking pumpkin!
Andrea and I are the Essentials tutors at CC this year and we dressed up as "Band (Banned) Verbs and Adjectives." The mom (including us) were way more entertained than the kids - ha!
Big year for Isaiah - Trick or Treating on his own with friends! Here are the Dude Perfect guys - William, Isaiah, Campbell, Christopher, and Owen. Cool dudes.
After all the prep for Grandma & Granddad's costumes, they only got to wear them for a few minutes on a rainy Halloween night to trick or treat. Grandma Poppy was my favorite costume of the year!
