Colorado!

We had a great trip to Colorado full of adventures this year! Sometimes our trips home don't feel especially Colorado-y beyond seeing lots of Broncos clothes and mountains in the distance. This year, however, we spent most of our time in the mountains and it was glorious!

After a fun first trip to the North Pole, Tallon time took us to Gunnison and Crested Butte, where we boated, tubed, fished, got caught in a storm, visited a fish hatchery, hiked, and played at our little Island Acres retro resort motel. It was such a fun time, and the hike was probably the most beautiful hike I have ever been on! Isaiah loved tubing and was going for one last spin around the lake when the storm hit! Roxanne, Lucy, and I ended up huddled in the backseat of Jack's truck with all the windows open, Roxanne wearing a trashbag poncho over her swimsuit, Lucy wrapped in multiple towels. We laughed until we cried. Memorable moment!

After a lovely time of Water World (Luke, Pa, and Isaiah) and Tea at the Brown Palace, Sykora time took us to Breckenridge for hiking, eating, exploring, hot-tubbing, and enjoying the Burcham place! Such a wonderful time together! Mimi had been dreaming of taking all her girls to the Brown Palace for years. It was delightful to finally do it! We'll have to give it another go when Brookie can join us! In Breck, the big kids took a ride on the Alpine Slide while the little kids climbed to a patch of snow and were equally delighted!
