The annual Piano Party was sweet again this year. When I think of Mrs. Horner, I can't help but smile and shake my head. She's pretty amazing. Her spirit is so incredibly kind and gracious! Isaiah and Noelle feel so comfortable and loved with her. The kids kicked their practices into high gear in the weeks leading up to the Piano Party to be ready to play The Entertainer and Fur Elise. In preparation, we watched the McDonald's commercial from the 80's about the little girl playing Fur Elise and singing in her head about going to McDonald's after the recital. We didn't "treat" the kids to McDonalds, but Mrs. Horner treated all of her students (and siblings) to goodie bags and giant cookies.
