Today my heart has been full of thankfulness as I've received so many fleeting blessings.
- Waking up next to a husband whose love and commitment to me I am utterly confident in
- Isaiah being fever-free after a short bug
- Anticipation of the LTC retreat this weekend, which Isaiah is set for now that he's healthy
- A husband/dad/minister who is more than willing to go on the retreat as a chaperone and teacher
- a perfectly sunny, warm day after days of rain and 2 solid days indoors with sickness and extra kids to care for
- the fun of taking Violet to the dog park for the first time
- wading through a muddly 2 acres with the kids, watching Violet explore
- watching Noelle pull Lucy up one-handed from 3 feet off the ground. She just reached down and pulled Lucy's entire weight up to where she was standing like it was no big deal. amazing!
- watching Violet get a chance to run FULL speed across the dog park to us
- Chick fil a in the car with the kids and the dog using some pocket cash I didn't know I had
- taking Violet to get her nails trimmed with the kids in tow
- Did I mention the sunshine??
- Reading The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe with the kids. The girls enthralled, Isaiah picking up on all of the imagery, me in tears.
- Watching Noelle scurry to the toy box to find the lion before scooting back to rest time. Aslan, perhaps?
- Successfully making it through 6 days with Luke on our no sugar, no carbs
... #thankful!
