are so tiring. My laundry pile nearly made me cry -
But, oh, the joy of finally loading up and getting on the road!! I was pretty proud of how little we brought this time. Look - you can even see out the back window! The kids were pumped to have their kindles in their backpacks and were so good about using it within limits. They are amazing car trip travelers - so patient and fun. They are great kids -
We very much enjoyed our annual stop at the Fishers' house! We got to meet their chickens, play, and eat. Such precious friends!
We found La Maedeleine on the way out of Lubbock. I was a happy momma.
I sometimes forget that we have Texas kids. Lucy was SO excited to see snow. When we first started seeing some dirty snow pack along the side of the highway, her face glowed in excitement. She could hardly contain herself when we stopped at McDonald's and she got to walk around it it! So happy!
