Halloween

This year, we had a Harvest Festival at church a few days before Halloween.  Since the weather on the 31st was expected to be super rainy, we snapped a few shots on Harvest Festival night -

On the actual Halloween, we carved pumpkins on a rainy morning.

Isaiah made a Star Wars guy...

Lucy drew a face including cheeks, a tongue, and hair.

And Noelle enlisted Dad and his drill again or a decorative flair -

Isaiah had been coughing for weeks, we think due to allergies, and by the time Halloween hit, his fever did, too.  I ended up spending the afternoon in the urgent care with him and we were picking up antibiotics for pneumonia about the time Luke and the girls headed out to trick-or-treat at LeTu and the neighborhood.  It was definitely a bummer, though Isaiah was able to watch a not-yet-for-the-girls movie, Spy Kids, which he'd been really wanting to watch.  When the girls returned home, they dumped their candy and shared with Isaiah. This was the first year I felt like we had an appropriate amount of candy!
