Catching up

This might be my most random post, but that's what catching up looks like for me.

In January, I went to my first women's retreat at Alpine.  It was nice to feel like I know enough people here now to feel comfortable hanging out with them for a weekend!  I was able to teach one of the sessions.  Although I loved having the chance to do it, I was reminded that I haven't done something like that it a long time.  Our Life Group was the only one that had 100% attendance.  Woohoo!

We prayed a lot for Aunt Cass in February as she tackled thyroid cancer like a champ.  This was the "I love you" pic we texted her near her surgery.

Just a regular homeschool morning.  Although we do get dressed every day, it's nice to not have to match.  The board behind the girls is our CC weekly memory work.  These kids have memorized SO much this year.

After 10 months of selling Avon, I retired in February.  Although it was nice to bring in a little money and I enjoyed meeting people and having the kids out and about, it was a big relief to pass on this little business.  It was a good experience, but I'm thankful to no longer have the constant responsibility of being an Avon Lady.
