Our school year has been a blur of learning, activities, sicknesses, and trying to keep up! We have all really enjoyed our CC cycle 3 American History lessons. All 3 kids can tell you about Columbus, the Mayflower Compact, the Pilgrims, the Boston Tea Party, the Declaration of Independence, and the Louisiana Purchase. They are eating it up - and I am, too! Here we are painting the Nina, Pinta, and Santa Maria.
In the first quarter of CC, our fine arts focus was drawing. At home as well as in my class of 4-5 year olds, I've been amazed by what these little ones can draw! Here's Noelle's lion -
The Fishers are also doing CC this year, so when Kim was making pilgrim hats for her girls, she made a few extra and sent them to us!
We made and signed Declaration of Independences -
And one sweet blessing of this year of school is that our friends, the Caldwells, have jumped on the homeschool bandwagon. Hooray for recess and picnics together!
