Last weekend, we had a little visit from Mimi & Pa! It was a very full couple of days w/ swim lessons and VBS on the schedule. Saturday was our only long day to fill however we pleased. Luke resisted the temptation to come to the zoo with the rest of us and worked hard on a LeTourneau project. The rest of us were off to Caldwell Zoo. The sea otters had never been so active for us. It was definitely a highlight!
We have learned to go to the birds right when the open so you can feed them while they're hungry.
We always finish with the goats -
In the afternoon, Isaiah and Pa watched The Neverending Story while Mimi took the girls out for pedicures. This was Noelle's first "real pedicure" and Lucy's first baby pedi. She didn't get the full treatment, but she did get to put her little toes into my warm water.
Such a treat!!
After meeting up w/ the guys for dinner at Newk's, mom and I headed to church to do some VBS decorating. This was the room for the "One of a Kind Bible Adventure" area that Luke and I led. Mom and I had fun pulling this together and, though it looks simple, the kids LOVED it and Luke and I transformed it a bit for each night of VBS.
Matching shirts from Hawaii -
It was a full, fun few days and not a tear was shed at the end since we will be in CO in a matter of days!
