About a month ago, Mimi, Pa, Shannon, David, Aubryn, and Annelise (and Molly!) came to visit and help us continue getting settled in our home. It was so wonderful to have them here!! It was so much fun to share our new world with them - church, town, neighborhood, and house. And it really did feel like they were here for a bit of a mission trip. There was a lot of painting done in the den and mud room. They worked long and hard to leave us with that room complete. Mimi and Shannon took me shopping for some household cute things to make our house homey, and Mimi made lots of Christmas bows that I'm excited to get out before long! In addition to working on the house, we played at parks, went to the Tyler County Fair, did some photo sessions, and just enjoyed being together. The girls all loved taking cousin baths. It was so much fun to get to re-know the girls after not seeing them for 9 months. We got rolling w/ knock knock jokes and all the kids thought they were so funny. Lucy and Aubryn's were pretty nonsensical, but that doesn't effect the humorousness in the slightest. It was just a sweet, sweet week. Here are a few pics. I hope I don't spoil any xmas card pics that may be coming your way...
