Mini VBS

Well, I'm about a month behind in blogging, but I'm hoping to catch up today.  I may not be able to do much more while we're in CA.  The move is upon us!  

These pics are from our mini VBS we did.  I did a little online research and decided to go through this series of lessons/activities w/ Isaiah and Noelle.  For 2 weeks, we started each morning rocking out to "Jesus is my Superhero" on YouTube and then did our lessons and activities around what it means to be super kids for Christ!  Each day, the kids would have 2-3 missions to accomplish around the theme of the day.  After their missions were complete, they would get a badge for their superhero crest.  At the end of the week, we glued them onto capes.  The kids loved it!  And, of course, if you're in super hero capes, you might as well have your mom take some pics of your superhero moves!  

 What a sweet series of lessons, conversations, and fun activities.  It was a great way for us to transition from regular school days into summer-mode.  May these little super kids set an example in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity!
