Today Lucy cut her first tooth! Last week, she had 2-3 days of drippy-faucet drool, fussiness, refusal to eat, and waking almost hourly all night long. And today, look what we've earned - a tiny little pearly white breaking through those soft pink gums. Congratulations, big girl!
And, she's on the move as well. She's not crawling and not keen on being on her stomach while awake. But, she's discovered she can get around while still sitting up and seeing the world. She's become very fast at pivoting on her little bottom and scooting around (especially on wood/tile floors). She can't cover ground too quickly, but in the last few days, she's learned to scoot to the fridge to play with the magnets, scoot to the cabinets to open and close them, and scoot to the big leg of the kitchen table, where she wraps her arms and legs around it with such pride. She's also very interested in making her way close to the Christmas tree, where she can reach ornaments, lights, and gifts! Woohoo!
