this week

We took a school field trip to a children's museum in L.A.

Noelle's favorite part was the ball pit!  

There were lots of fun areas to dress up and pretend.  Here is Dr. Tallon and Dr. Tallon under the careful watch of Dr. Tallon

Tonight we went on a family hike.  Lately, most of our "family hiking" has been on Saturday morning when Luke takes the big kids out for a few hours of hiking (5 miles last week!), while I stay home w/ a napping baby and a quiet house.  But, this evening we all got to go.  It was fun to see one of the regular trails Luke and the kids hike on.  They showed me all of their favorite rocks to climb on and they loved having Lucy along for her first hike!

This is one of all of our favorite things Lucy is doing right now.  It is the wide open excited/happy smile face that she has been doing a lot.  It is so funny!  We all laugh every time she does it, which just makes her happier and want to do it more!  Here is she is with "the face" at Isaiah while she watched him climb the rocks.  

And this is the big brother face that was bringing her such delight!  

This week we also learned about money, practiced handwriting by writing spooky words, had basketball and ballet lessons, a birthday party, a play date, school co-op, a few batches of pumpkin bread, and a baby shower.  It was a full week!  We're thankful for good health and the blessing of enjoying life!
