For the last 4 days, we have only used the air conditioning one time for one hour. Hallelujah! Fall is here!! I'm wearing jeans, Lucy is wearing those cute fall things that have been waiting for her in the closet, there is pumpkin bread on the counter, and the air is almost too cool to have the windows open in the evenings. Woohoo!! And, today we got to go to the farm for a fun pumpkin day. It was a school field trip, but it was mostly a family day. As a big group, we did a hayride/tractor pull all round the farm. Isaiah loved riding up front.
After the ride, we all got to choose a sugar pumpkin. Noelle grabbed the first one she saw.
Lucy and I watched.
Isaiah pondered, wandered, and evaluated before he was finally ready to commit to his sugar pumpkin.
"Take my picture!"
Climbing on the huge pumpkins was so much fun.
The corn maze! Last year, we never found the hay pyramid and ended up exiting through the entrance after wandering for a very long time. This year was much more successful. We wandered, found the pyramid, and made it all the way to the end. The kids LOVE going through the maze.
Happy first Fall, sweet Lucy!
Choosing his carving pumpkin -
Wagon's loaded!
This is happiness for me. My family together outside in the Fall. And, why not stop for our first pumpkin spice lattes of the season on the way home? Happy day :)

I love this family! You guys look wonderful! Great family photo!
Very sweet. I love fall, too, though it's getting cold too quickly here. Loved reading all your posts and catching up. You've obviously been posting for a while and I was oblivious. Miss you guys.
That looks like an absolutely perfect day!!!
