At 8 Months Old -

- Lucy is delightful

- Sometimes she laughs at nothing.  Just bubbling joy!

- No teeth yet, but she drools a lot and gnaws on anything she can get a hold of

- She's not crawling.  She doesn't roll all that much, either.  She can roll both ways and scoot around a bit, but, like her mommy as a baby, she's pretty content to sit still, play, and watch other people

- Her favorite people to watch are Isaiah and Noelle.  She can't get enough of them.

- She's added a lot of foods to her diet in the last month.  Most recently, chicken, yogurt, and rice cakes/puffs

- She wakes 2-4 times/night

- She takes 2-3 good naps/day

- She still loves bathtime, but she prefers to sit than to lay down

- Her eyes are most definitely brown

- She's started attending "Cradle Roll" at church (where the babies sit in those chairs built into tables).  I left her last week and she did great!  

- She gets a lot of comments about how darling she is (and how much she looks like her momma)

- She's babbling up a storm.  This week, she's been saying a lot of "boom boom boom" and "bababa" and "gagaga"

- She's filling out her 9 month clothes pretty well already

- She's definitely experiencing some separation anxiety when I walk out of the room (mostly when she's tired/hungry) and she's not too keen on strangers getting into her face when she's in her stroller (not being held my mommy).  

- Her newest nickname is from Isaiah.  It's kind of transitioned from "Lulu to Moomoo"

- She's soft and sweet and precious!
