Summer!!

We're back online!  And moved in to our new place!  And ready to catch up on life!  I'll try to get a bunch of posts and pics up over the next few days.  Before I share our pics from CO, I just had to do a little mention of our fun 2 months living on campus.  The Rouses were so generous to us in having us live in their house.  We took care of a big puppy named Cocoa.  The big kids shared Ian's room, Lucy slept in the master bedroom walk-in closet, and we all enjoyed the games, toys (!!), books, and movies at their house.  It was kind of a boy toy heaven for Isaiah with as many Legos, Star Wars figures, cool books, and nerf guns as he could imagine.  We were given permission to make use of it all, so we did!  The kids were SO happy to live on the pad with Henri, Oscar & Milo, Jude & Yo Shen, and Evelyn & Marianne.  Almost every afternoon included hours of fun playing outside with these friends.  A major component of the play was "doing water shows," which involved buckets, water, dirt, and a hill.  What more do 5 year old boys need?!  There was also plenty of running, bike riding, sandbox playing, dress up, train track playing, water guns, and water balloons.  And, we had lots of other "campus friends" close by, too.  It really made a tiring transitional few months into something sweet, refreshing, fun, and peaceful.
