6!!

Isaiah turned 6 last week!!  We celebrated with a Star Wars party.  Isaiah's had a lot of grandparent parties in the last few years, but he hadn't had a "kid party" since his Elmo party at age 2.  He was so excited to celebrate with a bunch of friends!  The days have been really hot, so we made it an evening party so we wouldn't all melt.  We met at a local park called Grape Arbor where the kids had plenty of space to run and play.  We did a few "Jedi Training" games including a three legged race (the first time for most of the kids), "pin the light saber on the yoda", a light saber running/spinning game, and Jedi freeze tag.  After we had cake, the kids all got glowing necklaces and bracelets, which were light saber-esque and helped us keep track of them when the sun went down :)

I can't take credit for the "Yoda-melon" below.  My friend, Kim, made it.  So cute!

Asher, Henri, Mattox, Elias, Isaiah, Noelle, Evelyn, Zoe, Bailey, Marianne, and Wright.  Not pictured, but there - Colton, Keilani, Jonas, Tomas, Seth, and Bethany.  It was a big group of sweet kiddos!

So happy to celebrate this awesome kiddo's birthday, and we're looking forward to all the fun, growth, and learning that will take place during this year of being SIX!  We love our big boy!!
