Whew. It's felt like a long week. The main events have been Isaiah being a sick little puppy with a steady high fever, a significant water leak in the wall of our house between our closet and the guest bathroom resulting in our closet flooding repeatedly, many frustrating interactions with the repair man, and many hours spent at home waiting for said repair man. There was one point this week when I didn't have hot water, a washing machine, a working oven (to cook or heat water to wash dishes), a shower to bathe in, or much sanity.
Yet, when I look back at the pics from this week, I thank God for sustaining us and giving us so many sweet moments. And, I'm thankful this morning for antibiotics for Isaiah and for a fixed water pipe, in spite of a giant hole in the wall.
Isaiah made me this picture with a little help from Luke on the day I encountered that "one point" mentioned above.

We played with a pot full of soapy water to fill some time -

Noelle has really taken a liking to Mr. Potato Head this week. She loves changing his face, holding him up and saying 'Hi!!' and giving him rides around the house in her stroller.

We do a fair bit of dressing up these days. Isaiah has a handful of superhero costumes, but the only one that "fits" Noelle is the Larry the Cucumber costume. I think she'll be needing some more dress up things for her next birthday. The kids don't get to see themselves much because all of our mirrors are too high for them to see in. I took this one off the wall for play time -

This was pre-sick, post initial leak family beach time at Bathsheba. The waves were huge so we couldn't go in the water, but it was a lovely morning -

Our generous back neighbor gave us a bag full of guavas from his tree. Apparently mango season is over. We haven't seen many guavas at the stores, but he gave us a ton. Luke and Noelle love them. Isaiah and I are less enthusiastic -

Noelle has taken to this little table. She finds something she wants to play with, carries it purposefully through the house to her spot, gets settled and enjoys it for a little while.

More dress up -

Playing with "white stuff". It was Noelle's first time to experiment with the cornflour and water mixture. They both had fun for quite a while -

Whew! glad that week is over even though you are dealing with residuals. I'll check the after Halloween sales to supplement your dress up. Roxanne
Holly, you're amazing ... still coming up with creative things for your kiddos under such a challenging situation. They are blessed little ones :)
Love, Mom
