Regular life

- Luke and Isaiah spent the morning at the immigration office in Bridgetown to request another extension on our stay before the work permit is completed. It hasn't been a speedy process.
- I was glad for a morning at home with Noelle. I don't get too much one-on-one time with her, so it was sweet and it definitely beats a morning in Bridgetown at the Immigration Office.
- We got a new, big-ish refridgerator! I never imagined being so happy that a fridge died as I was when ours went out. It was bigger than any fridges we had in the UK, but it still wouldn't classify as "big". The new one wouldn't classify as big by American standards, but it's plenty big for us and I'm pretty excited about it.
- The kids started gymnastics. Noelle and I do a parent & tot class and then Isaiah does a 'kindergym' class afterwards. It was really fun for all 3 of us and something we'll look forward to each week!
- I almost started doing yoga.
- We got a huge bag of guavas from our generous back neighbor. Isaiah and I are not sure about them, but Luke and Noelle are loving those green-skinned, pink fruits.
- They mowed our grass today and yesterday. Seriously, our yard is huge and much of it is 'mowed' by a weed eater. It takes a loooong time.
- We're signing up for direct tv today. Yay!! We really try not to watch a ton of tv, but it will be really nice to have football, some more shows for the kids, and Oprah's final season :)
- While we wait for the above, we've been watching Mad Men online.
- Luke's busy with the start of the semester. He's teaching 3 courses plus handling an assortment of other responsibilities. This is really his first thesis-free, full teaching load semester. He's doing a great job.
- We think about our little niece/cousin Noah a lot.
- Isaiah's been trying to hide or surprise us a lot lately. If we stumble upon him and ruin his plan, it is very upsetting to him.
- Noelle's been trying to get in on the action by 'creeping' around and saying "roar!!" I need to get it on video. It's really cute.
- Spaghetti for dinner tonight.
That's about all I can think of! Thanks for keeping up with us -

Holly and Luke, I have have a new computer - now if I can just make it behave and type what I want. :-)
The Geek Squad man who set it up fixed it so that everytime I turn my computer on my Skype will automatically come on also. Will that help any in talking to all of you. I hope so. Now to figure out how to send this to you.
