Celebratory toast
So, this morning when Luke got up, he received the email from the print shop in St Andrews that his bound copies were ready to be picked up. They'd already contacted our friend Amber to let her know they were ready to be retrieved. Who knew they'd be so efficient! It was very reassuring to know that there were people on the other end taking care of the thesis after sending his baby across the sea via internet to be submitted. Since we kind of already celebrated last weekend and we anticipate more celebration post-viva, the kids and I just prepared a little champagne toast for him after work. We'd found this bottle of non-alcoholic champagne a few weeks ago, and I thought it would be sweet to pop the cork and toast to Luke post-submission. Isaiah was really excited, especially for the 'pop' he knew was coming. So, here's our little mis-matched glass toast and some cards for Luke -

Cheers!

I really like that last picture, with the sippy cup in the toast, and it looks like you and Luke are smiling and kissing at the same time. Much too cute!
